The Bride of Frankenstein
By Karen A., Ms. Pacheco's Class

Frankenstein was a big and tall creature who was made from different dead human body parts. He had scars on his face and a square head. He had stitch marks around his wrists. He could not talk. He only uttered sounds when he was first made. Frankenstein spoke with his eyes and hands. He walked like a robot because he could not bend his knees. He had grayish pale skin like dead people.

Frankenstein's personality was temperamental and nice. If people treated him badly, he would get really angry. One day, an old man was pleasant to him. Frank was kind to him too. If people were nice to Frank, he would be nice to them too.

People mistreated Frank because he was scary looking to them and he could be mean. They thought he was a killing monster and that he was not human. The people would hit or shoot him. The townspeople tried to kill him or run away from him.

Frank felt miserable because the townspeople hit and burned him. When he was hungry, they did not give him food. One day, when he was walking through the forest, he heard music being played in a cabin by an elderly man. The man invited him to eat. Frankenstein was happy because he finally got some food. The man showed Frank how to talk. Then they sang happily. The man was blind. He could not see Frank. He only could read his heart. The man played the violin while Frank danced because he was happy.

One day, Frank became sad when his friend was taken away from him. He did not have any other friends. So he ran to the forest looking for a friend. He went to the cemetery to be with the dead. That is where he found Dr. Pretorious. The doctor said Frank should convince the other doctor to make him a bride. If he said no, Frank should take his wife and keep her until the doctor made him a bride.
