Wow, how exciting my trip was to Guatemala, my parent's country! The first thing we did was get on the plane at night, and before I knew it, we were flying over Guatemala in the morning.
And guess what? I saw volcanoes. One of them was erupting! I had never seen that happen with my own eyes until I saw it while I was inside the plane. After thirty minutes, I saw the volcano erupt. We landed... but there was one weird thing about our landing... We looked like kangaroos on a plane! It was really bumpy!
After that, we got our things and left with these people I didn't even know. They were my cousins, aunts and uncles. We went to a restaurant and then to this big house. It looked like a mansion. It had three floors, and it had seven big bedrooms and three bathrooms.
It was amazing to see such a big house. We spent like a month and a week there. Then we went to someone's house in "Boca Del Monte." The streets are not like they are in Los Angeles, because theirs have sand, rocks and it is dirty!
But not all of Guatemala is like that. There are streets like ours are in the capital (La capital). That is the place where the big house was where I stayed.
There was one problem, and it was a big one too! We had to leave. That was really sad. I did not want to leave Guatemala because I was used to their kind of environment. I did not want to come back to Los Angeles, but I had too.
Everyone was crying when we left, and they weren't the only ones.
