Water Race

The Water Drop Race
By Cristian & Rafael, Ms. Bonar's Class

Which water drop will be the first to move? Which drop will be the first one to reach the bottom of the tray? First, we made a line of water drops on the top of the tray. There was a little one, a big one and a gigantic one. Then we picked up the top of the tray and droplets slid down. But they didn't go straight! They all got together and made one huge drop!

So we had to do the experience all over again. This time, the gigantic drop won. We tried it two more times and the results were always the same. The biggest one always won.

We learned that when a drop has more drops in it, the mass is greater and it always moves the fastest.
