My Autobiography
by Miguel Angel M.

My name is Miguel Angel. I was born in the year of 1991 in the town of Los Angeles. That makes me nine years old. I am 57 inches tall, and I have black hair and brown eyes. I live with my mom, my dad, and my two brothers.

My mother's name is Claudia. She was born in El Salvador. She has brown hair and black eyes. She took care of me very well when I was a baby. My father's name is Edwin Miguel. He was born in El Salvador. He delivers packages from one place to another. He takes me to the park. My brothers' names are Edwin, who is seven, and Alex, who is six. My little brother is in kindergarten and my other brother is in first grade. They both go to Alexandria. My brothers like to watch videos, and they like to eat dinosaur chicken. My two brothers have separate beds and different sheets. One of them has the Lion King, and the other one has Aladdin. Sometimes both of my brothers fight for one toy. Edwin, my brother, likes to drink a lot of milk. Sometimes my dad or my mom takes me to a nearby basketball court at a school. When my dad has a day off he takes me to McDonald's and buys me a cheeseburger or a hamburger. Sometimes my mom takes me to parties or my mom takes me to her work. When my parents both have a day off, they both take me to the park, the beach or near the airport.

My kindergarten teacher Ms. Henestroza had seven baby chicks that hatched. Mr. Bradley was my first grade teacher. His favorite word to say was "Fiddlesticks". Ms. Jackson was my second grade teacher and gave me licorice when we helped her with papers and with moving chairs. Mr. Elliott is my third grade teacher and has five frogs in the classroom. Two frogs are nocturnal and three are diurnal. One of the frogs can eat a mouse. The Fire-bellied toads can eat crickets and other insects.

Alexandria has three buildings. One is called the Labrow Building, another is the Main Building and the other building has classrooms. I am in room thirty-eight. I like to read lots of books and draw frogs or other amphibians. My favorite things to do in the classroom are, science, reading, history, writing, social studies, drawing and computers. My favorite computer activities are Zoombinis, Simcity, Simtown, Simfarm, Tackle English, and Organ Trail.

When I grow up, I want to be an animal trainer or a firefighter.

My favorite fruits are mangoes, grapes, strawberries, bananas, watermelon, and melon.

I like mangoes the best because they are sweet and good. I like strawberries and watermelon.

My favorite animal is the king cobra. I like the king cobra because of the hood and shape of its body. King cobras are poisonous. When king cobras feel threatened, they will flatten their hoods and may strike. Cobras are dangerous to handle if a person is sick. People can make antivenum by holding the cobra's head and its fangs will drop the poison in a special cup with a special net and the fangs will go through the net and then the antivenin will be made. In Asia, king cobras are helpers to the farmers because the cobras will eat the rats or mice. Some people kill cobras for their skin, other people make jackets, hats, purses, wallets out of cobra skin. Baby cobras are born alive with enough poison to kill a person.
