Crickets
By Christine P, Ms. Martinez's Class
Crickets have two antennaes. Their long antennaes tell the cricket what the things around
it feel and smell like. Crickets live in caves, houses, fields, trees,
and underground. Crickets come out in the evening and eat plants, flowers and other insects.
The enemies are bats and owls. Crickets use their long back legs to leap away from danger.
Cricket have ears on their front legs.
The way they talk is by rubbing their wings together.
Only male crickets can chirp, not females.
Jack and the Beanstalk

I liked the part when the giant smelled Jack. The giant wanted to eat Jack because he was little.
