Good morning. My name is Melissa G. She taught me how to paint and sing and she was a good teacher.

My kinder teacher was Ms. Grunfield. She taught me the vowels and we went on a lot of field trips. She was a little strict. My first grade teacher was Mrs. Cisneros, who taught me how to write and read. She was very nice. My second grade teacher was Mrs. Alvarez. She taught me how to subtract and when it was open house, my teacher made a jungle in the classroom. She had a cassette about the forest.

My third grade teacher was Mr. Bautista. He taught me how to multiply and count money. My fourth grade teacher was Mrs. Simpson. She taught me how to add fractions and we made a lot of things in art. I want to thank her because she taught me how to make banners. My fifth grade teacher is Mr. LeMaire. He taught me about nouns and a lot of very important things.

I have been in this school for 7 years, and I will miss all of my teachers. Some of them went to another school. One day I will come and visit all my teachers to thank them.

When I go to middle school I will know a lot because all my teachers taught me something new. I hope my friends go to Virgil. In middle school I will work hard because I'll have 8 teachers to please.
