The students who visited from Korea came on Wednesday, August 4, 1999. They came here to explore the state and learn many things. The students came to the Computer Lab and Room 5 to learn about computers and play games. They enjoyed activities like Zoombinis, Fatty Bear's Fun Pack, Spellbound, and other learning games.

Some of them could not speak English, so they needed our help to translate. They tried to speak English, but they had a hard time. I had to translate for them with Ms. Charkoudian. Although I was nervous, I managed to translate loud and well.

I thought the students who were touring America were pleasant and friendly. The students had fun and I was having a good time, too. I do not see any Koreans often. I thought I would never talk to them, but when I started being friends with them I had fun. I felt like wanting to visit Korea, but some of the Korean students felt like staying in America. The Korean students were teaching us some words in their language. They also wanted to learn American words.
